Buyer Beware Mold! I’d like to order a little MOLD with my house…

The website of the National Association of Home Builders has an entire section on mold.

They say that “The growth of any type of mold in a home is never acceptable. Your safest and most prudent course of action is to treat all molds with caution and to remove them from your home as soon as possible.”

Also, on the same site, they do NOT suggest going for a professional mold assessment.

We aren’t pointing fingers, but we would like to note that a bad builder can be the victim of a mold lawsuit. So when a builder (who can be sued for causing mold by installing bad plumbing, a bad roof, faulty moisture barriers, building a leaky basement or whatever) might not want someone stuck with a poorly built property to get a qualified, legally sound assessment. I’m just sayin’. We’re not defaming the industry–There are some fantastic and honorable builders out there, but Caveat Emptor.

If you’re in California, you might want to give us a call and see about getting an assessment from Byebyemold.
