Farfield Leaky Roof; Mold Not Far Behind

What is Fairfield Warde High School going to do? Leaky roofs are a health issue for teachers and students because they lead to mold, and the 250,000 square feet of roof that need to go up at Fairfield Warde High School looks like it is going to cost $11 million dollars. Improvements like changing the pitch may get the school some price reductions from the state legislature, but maybe not. The work is expected to cost $37 per square foot, not including architect’s fees. There are already about 185 documented leaks.

$11 million in bonds were approved to finance the repair.
