Mold Closes Irontown Social Security Office.

According to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown and union representatives, the Social Security Administration is closing its Ironton office at 405 S. 3rd Street in Ironton, Ohio. due to a mold problem. Gallipolis, Portsmouth, Ashland, Ky., and Huntington, W.Va. offices will be receiving 12 union workers, who are transferring (with compensation) while a new building is being built in Ironton. In November, the new office will be opening, located at 611 Vernon Street and hopefully this one will be mold-free.
