Mrs Daniel Pauluk who filed a federal lawsuit in 2007 claiming the building is responsible for her husband’s death also claims that the unsafe building that killed her husband was also infested with mold. A structural engineering study showed the building to be structurally unsafe, with signs of cracking and deterioration. Ceiling tiles above Pauluk’s desk allegedly tested positive for toxic black mold. She believes the tumors in her lungs are the result of mold that her husband brought home, that infected her.
Currently the Southern Nevada Health District main office has been closed due to corrosion and a roof about to collapse.
