Homeowners Urge NY to Share Sandy Grant

All these months after Sandy’s flooding and damage, many of those affected homes are full of Toxic mold.

This is serious problem for many whose homes are all but unliveable.

A May 7th conference, Councilman Donovan Richards joined pressed for mold remediation aod.

“We need the mayor and the city to do more. Why has the borough and the Rockaways been forgotten once again?”

Richards asked for a portion of New York’s $1.77 billion block grant from the federal government to be put aside exclusively for mold remediation.
