A “sick building” lawsuit caused by the Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale has settled with Stefanie Krathen Ginnis receiving a $166,500 settlement. She’s the first of 19 courthouse employees to settle after they became sick from toxic mold and asbestos fibers exposure at the toxic Broward County Courthouse. Mold found in her nose during complex sinus surgery matched the mold in the courthouse.
