Ipswich Emergency Building Mold Renovation

NEW IPSWICH building two is slated to have its temperature turned up. The temperature is part of the plan to handle/control mold. The inspector warned that mold can grow in heat or cold, and only needs humidity. The temperature is a preventative measure against a burst pipe.

Experts are recommending 90 percent of the building be remediated. Building No. 2’s renovations have cost the town $33,000 of the building’s $226,500 remediation budget. The town is looking at determining how water-safe the concrete block structureed building is, how well it repels moisture from the outside.
