Mold, an unwanted Guest in Military housing

Lincoln Military Housing
Forty Families complain about to NewsChannel3 about the mold infiltrating their homes in Lincoln Housing Virginia Beach after airing a story on the mold found in an off-base military home. The resident lives in property formerly owned by the Navy, now owned and operated by Lincoln Military Housing. The mold in the bathroom and master bedroom has been reported to managers eight times to no avail, and now Shelley Federico is suffering sinus infections, ear infections, and upper respiratory infections. When contractors cut open her wall, she had a violent reaction. Inaction from the managers led to Federico hiring a mold inspector who found high levels of four types of mold. A remediation expert voiced his opinion that Lincoln violated standards of care in Federico’s case.
