Mold Puts Students Out of Dorm

After a St. Mary’s College of Maryland dorm suffered from an outbreak of mold, and dislocated hundreds of students, the school chartered the 301 passenger Sea Voyager, formerly the Cape May Light, to serve as a temporary dorm until the 200 students can return to their residence halls. A doctor declared the dorm uninhabitable due to mold.

St. Mary’s College is reputed to be a water-loving college.

For the duration, the 286-foot-long vessel will dock along the waterfront of St. Mary’s City, Maryland.
